Holland Lop Bunny Purchase Agreement/Contract

This Purchase Agreement is made between Cloud Nine Rabbitry, hereafter referred to as the "Seller," and [Buyer's Full Name], hereafter referred to as the "Buyer," regarding the sale of the Holland Lop bunny, hereafter referred to as the "Rabbit."

Terms and Conditions:

  1. Health Guarantee
    The Seller guarantees that the Rabbit is in good health at the time of sale. If the Rabbit is found to have a serious illness or health condition within 7 days of purchase, the Buyer must contact the Seller immediately with a veterinarian's report to determine if a replacement or refund is possible (at Seller's discretion).

  2. No Refunds or Returns
    All sales are final. The Buyer acknowledges that once the Rabbit has been purchased, no refunds will be provided, and the Rabbit cannot be returned for a refund, exchange, or any other reason, except as specified under the health guarantee.

  3. Proper Care and Housing
    The Buyer agrees to provide the Rabbit with a proper and humane living environment. This includes, but is not limited to, a safe, clean habitat, a balanced diet (hay, pellets, fresh veggies), regular grooming, socialization, and access to fresh water at all times. The Rabbit must be housed in an appropriate cage or enclosure and have daily out-of-cage time in a safe environment.

  4. Spaying/Neutering
    The Buyer agrees to spay or neuter the Rabbit by the age of 6 months if it is intended as a pet. If the Rabbit is purchased as a breeding animal, the Buyer agrees to responsibly breed the Rabbit and not allow it to breed indiscriminately.

  5. Return Policy in Case of Inability to Keep the Rabbit
    If, for any reason, the Buyer is no longer able to care for the Rabbit, the Buyer agrees to immediately return the Rabbit to the Seller. The Buyer is prohibited from selling, rehoming, or surrendering the Rabbit to any shelter, rescue, or third party. The Rabbit must be returned to the Seller, who will take responsibility for finding the Rabbit a new suitable home if necessary. No refund will be given in the case of return.

  6. Training and Handling
    The Buyer agrees to work with the Rabbit on proper handling, socialization, and gentle training. The Rabbit is expected to be treated with kindness and respect at all times. The Seller recommends using positive reinforcement techniques to help the Rabbit adjust to its new environment and to develop a strong bond with its new family.

  7. Deposit and Payment
    The Buyer agrees to pay a nonrefundable deposit of $50 to reserve the Rabbit, with the remaining balance of $[Remaining Balance] due before pickup or delivery. The Rabbit will not be released to the Buyer until the full payment has been received.

  8. Injuries or Accidents
    The Buyer acknowledges that accidents or injuries may occur once the Rabbit is in their care. The Seller is not responsible for any injuries, illnesses, or accidents that occur after the Rabbit has been sold to the Buyer.

  9. Transfer of Ownership
    The Buyer agrees to notify the Seller of any changes in contact information, including address, phone number, and email. The Buyer will also notify the Seller immediately if there are any issues regarding the Rabbit’s health or well-being.

  10. Legal Binding Agreement
    This Agreement constitutes the entire understanding between the Buyer and Seller. Both parties agree that they are entering into this Agreement willingly and that the Buyer understands and agrees to the terms and conditions listed above. This Agreement is binding upon both parties and enforceable by law.
